Unlike normal people who wake up early to take photos, I just don’t sleep. I stayed up past the sunrise to take photos in the water. I didnt realize I’d have the first-time pleasure of shooting with mist. Needless to say, I was very excited… until I sliced my foot open in the water in my first location not shown in these photos. After wrapping my foot and cleaning it, I biked back out to do these.

Bruce Mozert was renowned for being pretty innovative, coming up with underwater tricks to make these scenes seem as real as possible including using baking powder to create the powdery “smoke” coming out of the underwater barbecue.
